great stay but some minor hiccups

The location is ideal, making it easy to enjoy the hills of the area. The tapestry room is stunning with a beautiful view of the gardens, and the breakfast is truly delightful, catering to various preferences.

    cozy atmosphere

    Ideal spot for solo travelers

Caroline and Adrian really know how to make guests feel at home. I arrived and they were waiting outside with a smile, very welcoming. My room was full of personality, with vintage railway memorabilia everywhere, it felt cozy almost like a small apartment. Breakfast was no joke. a full Yorkshire spread that was just what I needed to fuel me for the day.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for.

    weak wifi

What a delight to stay at this charming spot! I particularly loved the cozy little garden for a morning coffee and the inviting lounge area where we relaxed after a day of exploring. Just a tiny thing—the wifi could've been a bit stronger, but it hardly mattered in such a lovely place. 😊
